Between which of the two options would one be able to get a more practical and stylistic result for the overall window coverings of an apartment. Blinds or curtains..?

I would say blinds because then you wouldn't need curtains. When I put up curtains I always put blinds under them. If I had to choose only one, I would go with just the blinds.

I would agree blinds would be the way to go, if I had to choose one. I don't like to leave my windows "undressed". I think blinds would be more beneficial though, although curtains look better.
