Blinds that let light in
I know crazy question, right?? We want to put blinds in the family room to help keep the room warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We also don't want to lose the natural light from outdoors. Is there a blind that lets the light shine through?
I would go with venetian blinds or even vertical blinds. They will let more light in. You could also go with a lighter color blind so more light comes in too. I'm not sure if any other blinds will do the trick.
Would you be willing to go with shades instead? I think you might find more options if you do. For instance, you could try some day-night honeycomb shades or some sheer shades.
Interesting thought - sheer shade. I have never seen these before. I am going to have to look for some of these to see if I will like them.
I would go for a light color blind. They usually let light in.
