Hiding cables and box
We are going to mount our flat-screen television on our living room wall. The problem is, what to do with all the cords and cable box. I don't want it to look messy.
We put ours behind the wall. It was a big project because I was nervous about doing it. It looks great, but it will be a pain to fix if anything goes wrong. Plus, it limited my ability to rearrange the room now since that TV is staying put. There are pros and cons I suppose.
That's the only reason that we haven't done it. Getting rid of the entertainment center saves space, but then you have to worry about the unsightly cords dangling around once you mount the TV. I don't want to put the cords behind the wall, though I think it does solve the problem. I hope you'll share if you find a good solution.
