Shower walls, shelves

12

We are doing a total redo of our bathroom. We are ripping out the bathtub and surround and putting up a corner shower. Could we use this to help get the shower walls where we need them? Our last project in the bathroom was a disaster (with trying to line up the surround - 3 pieces). Also could the tool be used to put the corner shelves in?

Hello samanthaV,

Congratulations on your redoing the bathroom. As far as using the RPC tool to help build your corner shower, I never got a chance to use the tool to build one myself. But, you never know until you try it.  If it works, great.  If not, you are more welcome to return it under the RPC 12 days money back guarantee.

As to your next question: "Also could the tool be used to put the corner shelves in?"

Yes, I don't see why not, just keep your eyes on the levels before making your markings.

Good luck,

RPC

That's a great idea! We own several rental properties and we are looking to change out some bathrooms. The corner showers seem to be the most cost effective. I've heard the installation of the shower walls is a big pain. It would be great if this tool helped with that. I'll have to buy one to give it a try. I'm sure I will find many other things to use it for if it doesn't help with that. Great idea Samantha!

Thanks! I will give it a try, for sure. As BobbiJ said, there are several other things that I'm sure we will use it for. We are actually redoing our home, room by room. After the bathroom we have the kitchen and dining room. I wonder if it would help with mounting the cupboards to make sure they are square and straight.

Good question there.  I've wondered the same because I'm not the best at squaring my work and it drives me insane if I have something off.  Of course, I can never tell that I've made a slight error until the project has been finished for a couple of days.  Then I can't ignore it.

Now I am thinking I could use it to fix a pair of crooked drawers. I always fail to line them right, but the RODY could do the job.

Hello to all,

For Clarification:  Those who are going to use the RPC tool for other applications, I suggest to get the 4 series ( 4x12 in, 4x18 in, or 4x24 in ) tools.  The 3x6 in and 3x12 in tools are mainly for mounting Blinds, Curtains, and Shades.  The 4 series tools have more preset markings over the 3 series tools.

Best,

RPC

Exactly! I was hoping it would help with the shower walls because they have to be exact. If they aren't, the shower door (glass) won't fit properly. You can't ignore that.

I'll look into getting the 4 series tool.

You could probably use this to help get a new door frame straight as well. I understand the window application is better selling "angle", but if you think outside the box a little, you start to see more possibilities.

Look at us! Figuring out many different things that you could use this tool on. I can't wait for people to start posting their projects so we can see all the great things it helps with.
