What is the best way to clean vertical blinds?
Quote from Nancymac on July 17, 2020, 12:11 pmI have three sets of very large blinds that might take two people to take them down?
How do I clean them easily? Is there a product or tip someone can share with me?

Quote from BrianB on July 17, 2020, 2:11 pmWell with vertical blinds, I imagine wiping down with a damp cloth would be good enough. The blinds I had in my dorm were plastic, and if I wanted to clean them, I figure it didn't need much. Just a quick wipe down and it is good to go.

Quote from Stacy on July 19, 2020, 1:27 pmIf you have the plastic vertical blinds and just want to remove dust, you can wipe them down with a microfiber cloth. If you need to remove dirt, you can wipe the slats with soapy water and a microfiber cloth.

Quote from Bryant on July 23, 2020, 4:29 pmWe save old socks for this chore. Put one on each hand and you can quickly wipe them down. After that, go back over them with a used dryer sheet and they'll collect less dust. I have no idea why that works but it does.

That's the first I've heard of that. Can't wait to try it out. I rarely dust my blinds. I just don't think about it. I usually pull out my Swiffer when I remember to dust them. It works reasonably well.
