Window seats

We are redoing a bedroom and I want to put in window seats, kind of like a reading nook. Do you think this is a good idea? How would you go about doing this? I envision big comfy pillows but that is it.

I love bay windows. They're a great space for reading a book, gazing at the stars, watching the birds, and growing some herbs. But instead of individual seats I have a full bench because I like to stretch out.
