What is your preferred style when it comes to window treatments? Do you want your window treatments to be almost unnoticeable or do you want them to stand out?

To me, shades and blinds are all about function rather than fashion. It doesn't matter to me whether they blend in or stand out. I just want them to keep people from seeing into the house and that's about it. Curtains matter a bit more to me. I try to match them to the room's color palette, so I guess I go for a balanced approach.

I change my curtains more often than most people because I like what they can do for a room. The right curtains set the whole mood. I use hardware and curtains that add pizzazz and style to my design.
