Building a Composter

With spring coming soon, I'm thinking about my garden. I'd like to add a composter to my family's garden. I want to be more environmentally friendly and composting kitchen scraps instead of throwing them away is a good way to do that. Has anyone built a composter before?

I haven't built one from scratch, but the idea is tempting now that you've mentioned it. Are you planning to use wooden planks or something else to build your compost bin?

I was thinking of using wooden planks, yes. I've seen some really cute ones online, and so I'm really excited. I'm also thinking I'd like a way to look inside the composter, so my family can see what's going on in there!
