Dark academia

What do you think about the dark academia style trend? The aesthetic favors dark colors, wrought iron, and natural materials. Interesting mirrors, books, and candles help round out the look in most of the inspo pics I've seen.

I like the aesthetic and it fits well with vintage decor. However, the pandemic has been depressing, so I switched things up with bright colors just to lift my mood.

I think this would be a really cool style to have. I wouldn't want my whole house to look like this, but maybe a room or two. It would be really interesting to have a guest space decorated like this.
