Mounting TV
Quote from BobbiJ on August 9, 2020, 10:59 pmMy son wants to put his flat screen TV on the wall (in the corner). The last time we tried to mount a TV we did it a bit crooked. Will the Rody tool be able to make this process easier and more accurate? I really don't want to screw this up.

Yes, the tool can help you mount the TV on the wall. It's no different than from using the tool to mount pictures on the wall. In the Project section, check out the work of user CFenn. He did an excellent job hanging his shelves and pictures on the wall.
Best,

I came here to figure this out myself, because we’ve been working on adding more things to our walls (including a large screen television). Hope that they reply soon (or someone that has used the tool for mounting a TV does). Following the thread!

Quote from Lennox on August 12, 2020, 1:21 pmThe tool will make it easier to get things straight, but before you start putting holes in the wall, have your son sit where he usually sits to watch TV so you can make the proper adjustments. My buddy and I put one up and didn't notice the glare until we sat on the couch. Not my proudest moment.

Quote from samanthaV on August 13, 2020, 12:58 amLennox, that is very smart. We did the same in our room. We had to move ours once we mounted it because there was such a glare. Great advice! See how it looks where you are going to hang it.

Am curious to know whether you managed to finally mount the TV. And whether you used the RodyPC. I would be doing the same soon, and am considering trying the tool on this one.
One thing am sure of is that the spirit level will be good for ensuring the holes are in line with each other. I have been a victim of misaligned TV. It is the greatest mistake one can do. It will haunt you every time you look at the TV. So you better get it right from the beginning.
