Blinds installation...
Quote from jamestodd54 on July 16, 2020, 11:31 pmShould I try mount curtains my self (install them) and if so what would I need to buy etc. mounts that sort of thing.
Or is it best just to get a specialist to do it?

jamestodd54,
If you wish to learn to DIY (do it yourself), it may become worthwhile for you to do, especially if you wish to save on money that you would otherwise spend on specialists. If you think it's too intimidating, or prefer that this job be done professionally, then I would recommend seeking a professional.
The idea behind the RODY Precision Corner tool is that the process of installing these blinds and curtains should become quick and easy, saving you time, money, and effort. It helps the DIYers learn to do stuff on their own, as well as, the professionals to better accomplish their jobs.
So, to install your curtains, in addition to the RODY Precision Corner tool, you should have:
- Pencil
- Drill
- Plastic anchors
- Screws
- Screw driver
- Brackets
- Curtain rod
Thanks,
RNO

what I did I replaced the curtains with blinds, all I want in terms of reducing glare/blackout and keeping the sun out. It was simply and pretty easy task which i have save hundred of bucks.

Am tempted to say "Thanks to the pandemic", but i will not. Either way, the pandemic has given us enough time to try out some DIY projects. If i were you, i would take this chance and try doing such projects myself.
If you feel you have very limited knowledge or/and tools, you can call a specialist to guide you, not to fix it. You better pay for being trained on what to do. It pays off in the long run.
