Homemade bar stools
We picked up an older vintage bar but it did not come with the stools. How easy do you think it would be to make some? Any tips on how. What should we use for the seats?
Stools are one of the easiest pieces of furniture to make. I would shoot for solid wood if you can. Just keep it simple and go with an easy design. They will be easier to build if you skip the backrest. I bet your stools will look great!
That sounds like an interesting project that would be great for a weekend warrior. I haven't tried making any yet, but I'd like to in the future. I hope your bar stools turn out great!
Are you trying to go vintage with them? If so, you should use that ugly orange material for the cushion seat. You know what I'm talking about? The orange vintage material.
