How often do you change it up?
I get bored easily so I tend to change things up every few years. It's kind of a rotation, our bedroom one year, the living room the next, the kids room, and so on. How often do you change things up?
I'm always switching up the decor, because that seems to have the most impact. I do a complete rearranging of furniture about once a year during spring-cleaning. I find it hard to settle on one configuration.
I find myself changing things up every few months. This is due to the fact that I am never satisfied with the look of my living room and study. I wish I could stop changing things so much, but I am a perfectionist.
I love this topic! I too love changing things up. I move the furniture around often. My kids love to change their rooms too. We don't change the paint or curtains as often as I would like. The kids get to change their themes every few years.
I don't change things up in my house very often. If something needs some serious repair or I think that it could be better, then I'll do some work on it. I will start decorating my house a little more often this upcoming year to brighten the mood.
Painting a room and moving the furniture around is cheap and really "changes it up". I wish I could change up more but that is a good start. It's great to see other people have the same thought as me. I'm planning my bedroom change right now.
