Paneling
We have a couple of rooms with ugly paneling up. I was thinking of painting over it. I would rather not rip it down and drywall right now. Do you think it would look horrible if we just painted it?
It will probably be fine. Just be sure to use a good primer first and be prepared to add more than one coat of paint if necessary. I hope it goes well!
We have painted paneling before. It was okay, for a quick fix. You should definitely use a good primer and good quality paint. I would think you would need a couple of coats of paint. Let us know how it looks. What color were you thinking?
Thanks guys. We decided to rip it off and drywall the room. I tried painting one wall and it looked horrible! The paneling kept soaking in the paint. It wasn't pretty. Thanks for the tips though!
