Outdoor wood dance floor
I have been asked to make an outdoor wooden dance floor for a wedding. I don't know why they thought I knew how. They are always commenting on our renovations, so could be possibly why. How would you do this?
Isn't it nice when other people ask you to make things? I would look for a pallet project on Pinterest. Maybe, possibly search pallet dance floor. I think this would be the cheapest way. You would have to be sure that there weren't any gaps though.
Weddings are so expensive already, so this isn't something I'd want to spend big bucks to make. So what about throwing down some thick plywood and attaching some laminate that mimics real wood flooring? It could work.
Weddings are so expensive! I would say that I would use both ideas, pallets to build the platform and then plywood to cover the gaps. I would skip the laminate flooring though. Maybe just paint or seal it after to give it a finish.
