Quote from HomeFlipper on August 11, 2020, 11:02 pmWow! I didn’t realize how many advantages that the RODY Precision Corner had above any other type of ruler or measuring tool out there. What a lovely, low stress design that DIYers like myself can utilize for our own projects. Thanks for sharing (and thanks to the OP for asking the question!).

Quote from William K on September 16, 2020, 7:33 pmI must also add that a ruler doesn't have the spirit level for level (horizontal) and plumb(vertical) accuracy. RPC combines the precision of a bubble level and a plumb bob. And better still, it can do it at on angular points (90, 45, 180 degrees, etc)
RPC beats the ruler by far. The next release should have a digital spirit level. Not necessary, but I thought I will look even cooler with a simple digital spirit level. It can be solar-powered, like the Casio calculators, since it doesn't require a lot of power.

You are on the right track. Patenting was the first major hurdle that you successfully achieved. The rest will fall in place. The design and engineering concept behind Rody Precision Corner is just genius. All you need is the right connections to push it to the shelf.
The tools solves a problem that many people are facing, therefore, it will be very easy to scale it up.

Quote from workerbee on January 9, 2021, 9:42 pmYeah, I wondered that too. I know a lot of people have a lot of great ideas. What makes people want to buy your product? I love watching Shark Tank, it's too bad there weren't more shows like that.

Getting it featured on Shark Tank wouldn't hurt.
A lot of marketing in the right avenues, I assume, would help more than anything to get your product exposed. From there, it's just a matter of need on the part of the consumer that is targeted.

Lighted,
Yes, all are correct, plus patience, consistency, and perseverance. This is especially true with the brand name, which plays a huge role in marketing.
